A late Victorian natural pearl and diamond tiara, the tiara comprising five principle sections graduated to the centre, of an ornate openwork scroll and floral design, with a floral drop between each, set throughout with natural pearls and rose-cut and old-cut diamonds, all from a necklet of alternately-set pearls and diamonds, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 12.30 carats, all set in silver to a yellow gold mount, with pearl-set snap clasp and safety catch, gross weight 59 grams, circa 1890
