A Victorian diamond brooch pendant

A Victorian diamond brooch pendant, of Catherine Wheel design, the old brilliant-cut diamond centre with six spiralling old brilliant-cut diamond-set arms leading to two rose-cut diamonds at each end all in a circular pattern, estimated to weigh a total of 4.5 carats, all to a silver cut-down setting on a gold mount with a detachable brooch fitting and an articulated pendant fitting, measuring approximately 29mm in diameter, gross weight 9 grams, to a fitted ‘’Carrington’’ blue velvet case, circa 1870.
