A late 19th century diamond-set caduceus brooch, formed of two snakes entwined around the winged staff of Hermes, set throughout with old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds graduating in size and with ruby-set serpent eyes, estimated total diamond weight 4 carats, all in silver to a yellow gold mount, Circa 1890, length 5cm, width 4.1cm, gross weight 8.0 grams.
