A Victorian blue enamel serpent necklace, the Bristol blue enamelled serpent head with a central row of graduated half pearls, cabochon ruby eyes and a decorative coiled tail, suspending a heart shaped pendant drop from its mouth, all to a yellow gold snake chain with the clasp concealed behind the head, measuring approximately 45cms in length, gross weight 14.15 grams, circa 1840.
