A Victorian natural pearl necklace with four graduating diamond set snakes, each interwined snake set with old-cut diamonds with ruby cabochon eyes leading to a pear-shaped natural pearl suspended from the mouth each set in silver to yellow gold, to the centre a large snake attached either side by three rows of natural pearls leading to two smaller snakes, attached either side by three rows of natural pearls terminating with a concealed snake clasp, gross weight 36 grams, total length 15 inches, circa 1870s,
