A LATE NINETEENTH CENTURY GARNET AND DIAMOND BEETLE BROOCH A late nineteenth century garnet and diamond brooch, in the form of a large beetle having tapered oval cabochon garnet wing cases with rose diamond detail to the head and body, and mixed-cut ruby eyes, all silver set to a yellow gold mount, with French import marked for silver and gold, measuring approximately 4cm, gross weight 12 grams, circa 1890.
