Jewellery Repairs
Repairs are undertaken by skilled craftsmen on the premises. Charges begin at £75 plus VAT which should cover the cost of a simple re-sizing of a gem-set gold ring or the re-stringing of a single row of uniform pearls.

Valuations for Insurance and Probate
Bentley & Skinner charge just half a percent of the value of an item for insurance valuations and one percent for Probate valuations and valuations between parties. For re-valuations, only one percent of the difference between Bentley & Skinner’s last and our current valuation is charged. The minimum charge for valuing each item on the premises is £75. Outside valuations are available by prior arrangement, subject to additional visiting fee and travelling expenses. All charges are subject to VAT.

Seal Engraving
Bentley & Skinner have a selection of the finest gold and stone-set signet rings and offer a comprehensive engraving service, from helping to trace a family crest through to commissioning an original Coat of Arms from the College of Arms. Signet rings are available in 9ct and 18ct gold at competitive prices in a choice of styles chosen to accommodate almost every shape and size of crest.

Exchange of Jewellery
Bentleys specialise in the re-modelling of old jewellery and are always happy to offer on the part-exchange or outright purchase of unwanted items of jewellery and silver.
