A Victorian gold and pearl bracelet, measuring 30mm in width and 180 mm in length with braided chain along the extent of the bracelet encasing within, forty eight rows of four white pearls on a flexible band, with a trombone clasp and safety chain, stamped M&P, circa 1870, gross weight 69.5 grams with an original fitted red leather case; compare with a similar bracelet illustrated in ‘Jewellery. The International Era 1789-1910’, by Shirley Bury, Volume II, colour plate 146, page 565.
