A gorgeous early Victorian bracelet. It features yellow gold filigree and bright, lilac-hued amethyst, both stylistic hallmarks of the period. The bracelet is comprised of a fine chain culminating in three gold flowerheads, each set with amethyst petals surrounding a dazzling old-cut diamond centre. The petals are surrounded by fine beadwork and filigree decoration, which provides a lovely complement to the colour of the amethyst. This piece perfectly exemplifies the transition between Georgian jewellery and Victorian.
