A charming bulldog brooch. It features a gold bar pin, from which is suspended a gold chain holding a realistically carved bulldog bulldog. The bulldog is set with lively diamonds throughout and has vibrant ruby-set eyes.This piece was made around the end of the nineteenth century and exemplifies the late Victorian taste for whimsical items of jewellery.
