An Edwardian diamond drop pendant, to the centre an old European-cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.75 carats, suspended within a fine diamond-set wreath, with a diamond-set bow surmount and suspending an old mine-cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 0.4 carats, the diamonds estimated to weigh 2 carats in total, all set in platinum to yellow gold back, circa 1905, measuring approximately 3.8 x 1.5cm, gross weight 6.4 grams.

A delicate and fine Edwardian pendant. This piece features a circular laurel wreath set with glittering diamonds and suspended from a diamond-set bow, which holds a dazzling hanging diamond. The bottom of the wreath suspends another lovely diamond and features a further small bow. This piece scintillates wonderfully, catching the light from all angles with its abundance of diamonds. The wreath and bow motifs are emblematic of the styles of the Edwardian period, as is the use of platinum and diamonds. This gorgeous piece is perfect hung from a chain and would add wonderful detail and sparkle to a cocktail dress, evening gown, or even a wedding dress.
