This Georgian amethyst and diamond brooch is a miniature treasure. The large central gem mounted in gold and surrounded by a cluster of silver-set diamonds was a popular style of the period. This brooch comes to life in the evening under candlelight when the diamond border glitters, enhancing the soft purple glow of the amethyst
