During the period, it became fashionable for women to adorn their elaborate hairstyles with ostrich feathers, a style which transformed into the wearing of diamond-set feathers that could be worn in the hair as well as pinned to evening gowns. This spectacular piece features an array of old-cut diamonds which catch the light beautifully, arranged in the form of a curved feather. This piece would be a lovely addition to a jacket lapel or to an evening gown for a more formal look.
