Description

An Art Nouveau enamel, pearl and diamond swan brooch, the realistically carved swan amongst wavering reeds applied with opalescent pink, yellow and green enamel, the body set with a baroque pearl, embellished with a small old round brilliant-cut and a rose-cut diamond, mounted in yellow gold atop a later rose gold knife edge bar with screw in brooch fitting, attributed to Krementz, circa 1910, measuring approximately 3.5×2 cm, gross weight 8.3 grams.

A whimsical swan brooch from the Art Nouveau period, this enchanting piece features a swan adorned with a diamond and a lustrous baroque pearl. The swan is gracefully embraced by two leaves, both delicately enamelled in soft sunset hues of graduating yellow, peach, and green. Attributed to Krementz, this romantic and delicate brooch is a stunning addition to any Art Nouveau collection, beautifully capturing the era’s essence and the romance of nature.
