An early 20th century French diamond brooch, to the centre of navette-shaped openwork plaque three large horizontally oriented old round brilliant-cut diamonds graduating in size and estimated to weigh 2¼ carats, surrounded by three diamond-set frames, two of undulating ribbon design with a row of alternating small and large diamonds in between, the smaller diamonds estimated to weigh a further total of 5 carats, all set to a white gold and platinum mount with pin and brooch fitting, bearing the French mark for 18ct gold and platinum, circa 1920, measuring approximately 4.4×2.7cm, gross weight 10.7 grams.
