An Art Deco natural pearl and gem-set brooch

Description

An Art Deco natural pearl and gem-set brooch, in the form of a circle set with old brilliant-cut diamonds, embellished with a small calibre-cut emerald and faceted onyx, to foliate design terminals, set with a pearl measuring approximately 6.7mm in diameter, accompanied by GLP report stating to be natural, of saltwater origin, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1¾ carats in total, all millegrain-set in platinum mount with openwork gallery and white gold brooch fitting, possibly American, circa 1920, compare with Oscar Heyman brooch from our collection, measuring 3.5cm in diameter, gross weight 5 grams.
