Description

A pair of Victorian spider and turtle scatter pin brooch, consisting of a pearl-set turtle and a pearl-set spider with cabochon-cut ruby-set eyes, to closed back yellow gold mounts, connected by gold trace chain embellished with two small gold balls, circa 1880, the sider measuring 2.5×2.4cm, the turtle measuring 2.3×1.6cm, gross weight 8.1 grams, accompanied by original fitted case.
