A late 18th century diamond flower brooch

Description

A large late 18th century diamond flower brooch, the central old-cut diamond surrounded by six petals of openwork design, centrally-set with old mind and pear-shaped cut diamonds, all surrounded by small old mine rose-cut diamonds, the diamonds estimated to weigh 10½ carats in total, all cut-down set in silver with closed back mount, with late 19th century detachable gold brooch fitting, circa 1780 & later, measuring 5.5cm, gross weight 21.4 grams.
