Description

A pair of Victorian multigem-set bee scatter pin brooches, consisting of two matching bees, each set with two cabochon-cut opals, one on the thorax and one on the abdomen, embellished with rose-cut diamonds and set with two cabochon-cut ruby eyes, mounted in silver and gold, connected by two fine-link chains set with seed pearls to a central stock pin, circa 1890, each bee measuring 2.1x2cm, gross weight 5.8 grams.
