Description

An Edwardian sapphire and diamond pendant/brooch, the cushion shaped faceted sapphire measuring 11×7.5mm and estimated to weigh 2½ carats, millegrain set in yellow gold collet and surrounded by fourteen small old brilliant-cut diamonds, with an outer frame of twelve larger old brilliant-cut diamonds, with detachable diamond-set pendant loop, the diamonds estimated to weigh 7½ carats in total, assessed mounted to be of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity all millegrain-set in platinum, accompanied by detachable brooch fitting and platinum chain, circa 1905, the pendant including the loop measuring 4×2.4cm, the chain measuring 41cm, gross weight 10.1 grams.
