A vintage pair of cultured pearl and diamond drop earrings, the top a cultured pearl suspending three old-cut diamonds set in square collets leading to a drop-shaped cultured pearl, mounted in platinum with white gold screw fittings, circa 1920, measuring approximately 8.6cm in length, gross weight 4.4 grams.

A lovely and delicate pair of early twentieth century pearl and diamond earrings. These earrings feature a pearl top with a line set with lively diamonds culminating in a further lustrous pearl. Pearls and diamonds began to be used together in the simple and feminine styles of the Edwardian era, and the popularity of these materials carried into the 1920s.
