Description

A pair of sapphire and diamond drop earrings, each earring set with four round and one oval shaped cabochon-cut sapphires, embellished with eight round brilliant-cut diamonds, the sapphires weighing 10.61 carats in total for the pair and accompanied by GPL report stating to be of East African origin, with no indication of heating, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1¾ carats in total all claw-set in gold collets with double gallery, and suspended by hook fittings, circa 2000, later hallmarked 9ct gold, London, bearing the Bentley & Skinner sponsormark, measuring 5×1.3cm, gross weight 7 grams.
