Description

A pair of Edwardian black opal and diamond cluster drop earrings, the two pear shaped cabochon-cut opals weighing 1.55 and 1.30 carats claw set in yellow gold to the centre of an old brilliant-cut diamond cluster surround, each suspended from a later flexible run consisting of six old brilliant-cut diamond, with a larger single old-cut diamond top, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1¾ carats in total in for the pair, all millegarain in platinum and yellow gold, with post and scroll fittings, circa 1910 and later, measuring 3.7x 1.2cm, gross weight 5.5 grams.
