A delightful gem-set egg pendant by Fabergé made in Moscow. Fabergé was established in St Petersburg in 1842, and by the late nineteenth century, was Russia’s largest and best-known jewellery house. This ornate pendant features twinkling old-cut diamond, a bright ruby, and a midnight blue sapphire in a pansy design set in buttery yellow gold egg mount beautifully chased to a hypnotic texture. Pansy flowers are traditionally seen as symbols of love. This sweet pendant, with its warmth and vivid colours, this pendant would look stunning on a simple chain, or on a charm bracelet.
