A pair of Art Deco onyx and diamond cufflinks, each face with eight swiss-cut diamonds, millegrain-set to a square design inlay to the centre of an octagonal-shaped onyx plaque, to a chain link, all in platinum, circa 1920, measuring 1.3×1.3cm, gross weight 5.5 grams.

A pair of wonderful octagonal Art Deco onyx and diamond cufflinks. The exquisitely millgrain-set diamonds, set into octagonal onyx heads gives the cufflinks character and charm. The contrast between the black onyx and diamonds provides a sharpened and smart elegance. Dominated by bold lines and geometric shapes, these cufflinks are the perfect example of fine Art Deco jewellery from the 1920s.
