Description

A pair of vintage lapis lazuli star cufflinks, each consisting of two lapis lazuli stars, set with a round brilliant-cut diamond to the centre, all to a detachable yellow gold bar link, stamped 14 ct gold, mid-20th century, measuring approximately 10 x 14.5 mm, gross weight 6.7 grams.

A pair of deep blue lapis lazuli cufflinks. The symbol of the star has long been associated with protection, and jewellery featuring stars was said to bring guidance and assurance to the wearer. Each star has a charming round brilliant-cut diamond at its centre, and this style is reminiscent of Hollywood glamour. The lapis lazuli featured in these cufflinks have a fine dusting of pyrite and calcite. These cufflinks would add character and style to any suit.
