A late Victorian diamond and ruby cockerel stick pin, the body set with twenty-three rose-cut diamonds, the tail flanked with nine round faceted rubies estimated to weigh 0.1 carats, the eye set with a small cabochon-cut ruby, mounted in silver and yellow gold, with gold pin fitting, circa 1890, measuring 1.3 x 1.3, the pin measuring 7.2cm long, gross weight 2.6 grams.
