This delicate and romantic brooch was made in France in the late nineteenth century. The cherub is a sentimental figure: sweet and angelic but also mischievous, symbolising love and passion. The cherub carries a floral garland of diamonds and vivid rubies, which glitter beautifully and with his diamond encrusted wings, this lovely brooch makes a delightful accessory.
