An Victorian opal and diamond flower brooch, with a central old brilliant-cut diamond in a silver collet and five petals each set at centre with an oval opal, surrounded by grain-set diamonds, the stem similarly set, all mounted in silver on a yellow gold backing, circa 1860, overall measurements approximately 4×3 cm, gross weight 7.0 grams. Unmarked tested as 15ct gold and silver. A Victorian brooch in excellent condition.
