A charming stick pin. This pin was made in the late nineteenth century, when jewellery in the Egyptian revival style was extremely popular. This stick pin features a lovely Egyptian queen with a brightly coloured enamel headdress set with diamonds. The shape of the stick pin mount itself is in the style of Ancient Egyptian architecture, which was being discovered through a series of excavations during the mid to late nineteenth century. This pin would be a lovely addition to a lapel or tie.
