A French Art Deco ruby and diamond ring, the central oval faceted ruby weighing 3.88 carats, accompanied by report stating its origin to be from Mogok, Burma, set between two triangular-shaped straight-side faceted rubies weighing a further total of 0.17 carats, set to a bombe-style mount pave-set with old brilliant-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 2.45 carats in total, all mounted in platinum with tapered D-sction shank, bearing French platinum mark, circa 1930, measuring 1.8 s 2.2cm, finger size L ½, gross weight 7 grams.

An exceptional ring. The central ruby comes from Mogok in Burma, where the finest rubies in the world are found. It is a wonderful and bright colour and weighs an impressive 3.88 carats. This ring was made in around 1930, and it has a wonderful Art Deco flair to it: the central ruby is flanked by two triangular rubies set in an oval plaque with geometric openwork platinum set with dazzling diamonds. A unique and special ring.
