A fine Victorian five-stone ruby and diamond ring, the ring alternately-set with three old brilliant-cut diamonds and two round-shaped faceted rubies, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1.50 carats, the rubies estimated to weigh a total of 1.50 carats, all claw-set within an ornately-carved mount of a scroll design, to a tapered D-section yellow gold shank with scroll carved shoulders, circa 1870, gross weight 4.6 grams.
