A Turn Of The Century Pink Diamond Ring
A turn-of-the-century pink and white diamond ring, the natural fancy pink pear-shaped diamond weighing 1.43 carats (HRD Report ), set within two white and one yellow brilliant-cut diamonds, the platinum and yellow gold mount with diamond-set shoulders, circa 1900, the head measuring approximately 1.6×1.9cm, size N, gross weight 3.7grams.
An exceptional Belle Epoque ring. The centrepiece of this exquisite ring is a dazzling fancy pink diamond in the shape of a kite. This diamond sits elegantly between curved diamond set shoulders and above a trio of further diamonds, two white and one yellow. The multicoloured combination of fancy diamonds is gorgeous, and the stones are perfectly complemented by the yellow gold setting and band. The feminine and delicate style of this ring is typical of the period, but the addition of fancy colour diamonds makes this piece a true treasure. This piece would make a sublime engagement ring.
