An Art Deco Ruby And Diamond Double Cluster Ring
An Art Deco ruby and diamond square cluster ring, the central rectangular step-cut ruby estimated to weigh 1ct, accompanied by GCS Report, stating to be of Burmese origin with no indication of heat treatment, set to the centre of an old-cut diamond cluster surround, all within a border of calibre-cut rubies, set in platinum with ornate scroll-design pierced gallery, to a square-section platinum shank with diamond-set shoulders, circa 1930, head measuring 1.3 x 1.2 cm, finger size J, gross weight 4.2 grams.
This elegant ring is of a classically Art Deco geometric design. The central ruby is of a gorgeous and bright hue, surrounded by a square frame of glinting diamonds and further square frame of additional vivid rubies. The platinum shank complements the diamonds and rubies, making this sophisticated ring a perfect addition to a cocktail dress.
