This gorgeous pearl and diamond brooch was made in the mid Victorian era. It features an array of pearls and diamonds set to an ornate yellow gold mount. The pearls have beautiful nacre and are complemented wonderfully by the warmth of the gold, and the diamonds add alluring sparkle. This piece features a detachable brooch fitting and a pendant loop, giving it versatility: it would be a beautiful addition to an evening gown, and would also look stunning hung from a gold chain.
