A fine pair of Turn-of-last-Century cufflinks, each cufflink comprising a nail and hunting horn motif, with chain fitting, all in yellow gold, signed Mellerio 2355M, bearing Fench hallmark for 18ct gold, circa 1900, the horm measuring approximately 2.7 x 1.5cm, gross weight 19 grams.
A striking pair of gold cufflinks. These cufflinks each feature a detailed gold horn on one end of the fitting and a gold horse shoe nail on the other. Sculptural and handsome, these cufflinks were made in the early twentieth century and are wonderfully modern. These cufflinks were made by Mellerio, the French jewellery house founded in 1613 that is known for its royal patronages including Queen Marie Antoinette and Empress Josephine.
