A pair of Edwardian pearl and diamond drop earrings

A pair of Edwardian pearl and diamond drop earrings, each earring a run of eight old brilliant-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1 carat, each millegrain rubover-set in platinum collets, graduating to the base, suspending a tear-drop shaped natural pearl with rose-cut diamond-set cap, each pearl measuring approximately 10.5 x 7mm, with platinum peg fitting, circa 1910, the earrings measuring approximately 4 x 0.7cm long, gross weight 6.3 grams. A pair of Edwardian pearl and diamond earrings in good condition for its age with minimal signs of wear.

These lovely pearl earrings are a delightful example of the elegance of the Edwardian era. A shimmering line of light ends with a luminous tear drop in this classic pairing of diamonds and pearls.
