An Oval Sapphire And Diamond Cluster Ring
An oval sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the oval faceted sapphire weighing 3.82 carats accompanied by GCS certificate, stating to be a natural sapphire with no indications of heating, claw-set to the centre of a cluster surround of ten round brilliant-cut diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of 2.6 carats, all claw-set to a raised white gold collet, to a tapered square-section shank with cheniered shoulders, hallmarked 18 carat gold, London 1981, the head measuring approximately 1.9×1.7cm , finger size M 1/2, gross weight 6.7 grams.
A beautiful cluster ring. The central oval sapphire shines with a deep blue colour and is complemented by the glittering diamonds that surround it. This ring is reminiscent of the engagement ring worn by Diana, Princess of Wales and passed down to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. A wonderful piece.
