A Pair Of Edwardian Amethyst And Pearl Drop Earrings
A pair of Edwardian amethyst, pearl and diamond drop earrings, each earring with a pear-shaped amethyst estimated to weigh 8 carats for the pair, suspended by a run set with three small natural pearls alternating with three rose-cut diamonds, all mounted in platinum and gold, to gold hook fittings, circa 1910, measuring approximately 4.5 x 0.8cm, gross weight 4.2 grams.
A very pretty pair of antique earrings. These earrings each feature a subtle drop of diamonds and natural pearls, the combination of which is typical of the Edwardian era. Each drop culminates in a bright and vivid pear-shaped amethyst with a striking hue. These lovely earrings would be the perfect finishing touch to a simple evening dress.
