A late Victorian ruby and diamond cluster ring, the oval-cut ruby weighing 1.09 carats of Burmese origin, surrounded by eight old European-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 1 carat in total, all claw-set to a scrolled mount with split shoulders, mounted in yellow gold metal tested as 18ct gold, circa 1900, head measuring 1.2×1.1xm, finger size K, gross weight 3.6grams.
A beautiful and sparkling ruby and diamond cluster ring made in the late Victorian era. This ring features a vibrant, glowing ruby weighing over one carat, surrounded by eight dazzling old-cut diamonds. The diamonds and ruby are claw set with warm yellow gold, which complements the stones wonderfully. The stones are set to a scrolled mount with elegant split shoulders, emblematic of the ring designs of the turn of the century.
