A Two Stone Diamond Cross Over Ring
A two stone diamond cross over ring with diamond set shoulders, the two old brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing a total of 0.75 carats, claw set to a white gold mount with single-cut diamond set curved shoulders with milligrain edge, circa 1950, later hallmarked 18ct gold, London, 2014, bearing the Bentley & Skinner sponsor mark, the jewelled part measuring 1.5 x 0.7cm, finger size J, gross weight 3 grams.
An elegant and sparkling ring. This crossover ring features two scintillating diamonds mirroring each other across a curving, diamond set band. The two diamonds make this ring a fine example of the romantic ‘moi et toi’ or ‘me and you’ ring, with the stones representing the two halves of a couple. This piece would make a sophisticated engagement ring.
