A Victorian Five Stone Sapphire And Diamond Ring
A Victorian five stone carved half hoop sapphire and diamond ring, set alternately with five graduated diamonds and sapphires, three old brilliant-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1.5 carats and two cushion shape faceted sapphires weighing a total of 1.67 carats with eight rose-cut diamonds inbetween, all claw set to a gold mount with a 2.4mm wide D-section shank and tapering shoulders, circa 1880, gross weight 5.2 grams.
