A handmade silver and gold necklace by Lucie Heskett-Brem the Goldweaver of Lucerne, inspired by Darcey Bussell the necklace consisting of twenty-three silver flower-heads each centrally-set with a fancy colour sapphire, the sapphires estimated to weigh 5 carats in total, connected with yellow gold links, all mounted in silver and gold, hallmarked Sterling silver and 18ct gold, London, measuring approximately 44 x 1.4cm, gross weight 64.5 grams.
This lovely necklace was made by Lucie Heskett-Brem, known as the Goldweaver of Lucerne for the masterful craftsmanship and sense of magic imbued in her pieces. Heskett-Brem meticulously creates all the chains by hand in her jewellery, and this necklace is an excellent example of her work. This necklace features twenty-three handcrafted silver flowers, each set in the centre with a coloured sapphire. The colours of the sapphires range from green to yellow to orange and red and combine wonderfully with the silver. A wonderful, enchanting piece.
