A Victorian hardstone cameo suite, consisting of a bangle, a pendant and drop earrings, the bangle with an oval cameo carved in classical style depicting a lady holding a lyre, the pendant set with a cameo depicting Cupid and Psyche, symbolizing the union of Love and Soul, the earrings set with cameos depicting cupids, all cameos set within matching lilac and white enamelled frame with applied bead and twisted rope detailing, to yellow gold mounts and fittings, circa 1870, the earrings measuring approximately 5.8 x 1.5 cm, the pendant measuring approximately 7.3 x 3.7cm, the bracelet measuring approximately 4.3×1.8cm and 5.7cm in diameter, gross weight 74.3 grams.

The pendant features a cameo of Cupid and Psyche, and the bracelet features Erato, the muse of love poetry, recognizable by her lyre. Each earring depicts Cupid as a baby. The cameos all depict themes of love and are set to detailed enamel frames and ancient-inspired beadwork and filigree decoration. The yellow gold of the settings provides a beautiful complement to the pink cameo and the enamel borders. A gorgeous set.
