A Three Stone Emerald And Diamond Ring
A three stone emerald and diamond ring, the central emerald-cut emerald, measuring approximately 7.0 x 6.2 x 4.2mm and weighing 1.34 carats, four claw set in gold, flanked by round brilliant-cut diamonds either side, weighing a total of 1.03 carats, six claw set to a white gold mount with tapering chenier shoulders, circa 1950, head measuring 0.7×1.7cm, finger size P 1/2, gross weight 3.9 grams. Unmarked tested as 18ct gold. A three stone ring in excellent condition.
An attractive three stone ring. It features a central grass green emerald of a bright hue flanked by two lively diamonds. The emerald is set in yellow gold, which complements the beautiful colour of the stone. The rest of the ring is white gold, lending a sense of timelessness to this piece. Three stone rings have become popular choices for engagement rings as the three stones can be seen to represent the couple’s past, present, and future.
