A Late Victorian Sapphire And Diamond Heart Ring

A late victorian sapphire and diamond heart ring, the Burmese pear-shaped sapphire weighing 1.22 carats, surrounded by rose-cut diamond set cluster, surmounted by rose-cut diamond set bow, circa 1890, head measuring 1.2×0.9cm, finger size L, gross weight 2.6 grams.

A romantic and beautiful late Victorian heart ring. This ring features a single pear-cut sapphire mounted in a heart-shaped frame set with glinting diamonds. The heart is topped with a diamond-set bow. Heart rings such as this were popular in the second half of the nineteenth century, and this is an excellent example of this lovely style. The sapphire is a stunning shade of royal blue, which is well complemented by the diamonds and the yellow gold split shank band. This piece would make a wonderful unique engagement ring.

The finger size of most of our rings can be adjusted and our workshop will be happy to do this free of charge. If you do not know your finger size please request us to post you a finger measure.
