A pink sapphire, diamond and cultured pearl necklace, the detachable Victorian centrepiece, horizontally-set with an oval faceted pink sapphire weighing 2.62 carats, to a lozenge shape frame consisted of eight old brilliant-cut diamonds each within an entwined diamond-set border, the diamonds estimated to weigh 4.5 carats in total, all set in silver to yellow gold back, circa 1890, strung to three rows of fine Japanese Akoya cultured pearls, measuring 8-8.5mm in diameter, to a diamond-set slide clasp, accompanied by detachable brooch fitting, measuring 42 x 2.8cm, gross weight 135 grams.
A dramatic three-row necklace. This piece features an intricate interwoven centrepiece set with diamonds, within which is set eight scintillating old-cut diamonds. To the centre is set a gorgeous and vibrant pink sapphire. The centrepiece is strung to the middle of three rows of gorgeous, cultured pearls with great nacre. The centrepiece is detachable and can be worn as a brooch.
