A Victorian sapphire and diamond cluster necklace, the necklace consisting of thirty-two graduating sapphire and diamond clusters, each set with round faceted sapphire surrounded by old-cut diamonds, estimated total sapphire weight 17 carats, estimated total diamond weight 9 carats, all set on silver to yellow gold, the centre cluster with a gold ring to suspend a sapphire and diamond cluster pendant set with a round faceted sapphire estimated to weigh 1.3 carats surrounded by a border of old-cut diamonds to a further surround of larger old round-cut diamonds with diamond-set loop, estimated total diamond weight 4 carats, circa 1870, the necklace measuring approximately 35cm in length, the pendant measuring approximately 3cm in length, gross weight 44.4grams.
