An Art Deco Natural Pearl And Diamond Necklace
An Art Deco natural pearl and diamond necklace, in the form of an openwork ribbon suspending an articulated line of diamonds and a natural pear with a diamond-set cap, the Swiss cut diamonds estimate to weigh 2 carats in total, attached to a seed pearl and platinum chain, accompanied by GCS report 5776-5588 stating the 67 cream coloured pearls are all natural of saltwater origin, all mounted in platinum, circa 1920, the jewelled part measuring approximately 7.8 x 4cm, the pearl chain measuring approximately 40cm long, gross weight 13.9 grams.
An elegant jazz-age necklace. This piece features a platinum chain set with seed pearls culminating in a wonderful drop of a geometric, classically Art Deco design. The drop is crafted from delicate openwork platinum set with glittering diamonds culminating in a pear-shaped natural pearl with a diamond set cap. The diamonds and pearls complement each other wonderfully and look beautiful with the platinum setting and chain. This exquisite piece would look lovely with a low-necked evening gown.
