A late Victorian sapphire and diamond five stone ring, set with three cushion-shaped sapphires with total weight 2.58 carats, alternating with two old brilliant-cut diamonds with total weight 1.0 carat, claw set in carved and pierced yellow gold shank with scroll carved shoulders and sides, inscribed with the date 1898 to the inner shank, the head measuring 0.7×2.3cm, finger size O ½, gross weight 5.56 grams,
An enchanting late Victorian ring. It features three midnight blue sapphires with two scintillating diamonds set between them. The setting is bright and warm yellow gold that complements the stones wonderfully and features an ornate gold scroll mount typical of the late nineteenth century. This piece would make a gorgeous antique engagement ring.
